Port Surgery Update

Hey Friends,
Liam’s surgery went well yesterday. He came out of the OR with some pretty gnarly scars. The port was inserted into his chest near the location of his previous central line. They had to make some pretty large extra incisions to correctly place the line in the vein that leads to his heart. But in the end, everything was successful. Liam is sore, but he’s been playing again today. Thank you so much for praying!
Happy to hear surgery went well. Liam is such a strong kid ❤️ and he also has a really cool haircut!
Praying daily for Liam and your entire family. Continuing to beseech God for full healing. I appreciate the updates as it keeps my prayers current also.

I was writing so quick that I made some errors And did not realize it.
The scar will shrink over time.
It is in my personal opinion, the best way to have a port.
I continue to keep Liam and all of you in my prayers every day. I pray for the doctors also. I pray that our father God continues to protect, provide and comfort each and everyone of you.

That’s exactly what they did to me. Overtime that score will shrink as I’m sure you know.. It is best when it’s hope to write to that main artery or vein.
I need to keep little Liam and all of you in my prayers. I pray that our father God continues to heal Liam. I pray that he gives the doctors all they need with steady hands. I pray for comfort for all of you.
